2 hours for a delivery less than a mile away, when I rang they said its ready but no drivers available, surely they shouldn't take orders if that's the case !

Unfortunately my family and I had a very bad experience. It was my mother’s birthday and she had requested a Chinese. We ordered online and upon submitting the order the delivery time was 1.5 hours later! We waited and then I rang for an updated time to be told it would be another 30 minutes as they were busy. Now it was 2 hours from ordering. I rang again after 30 minutes to be told the order had left. After roughly another 30 minutes still no food. I rang again and the response was flippant, stating that it would be there soon and that they were busy. I asked for an apology for the terrible customer service and ridiculous timescale to be told, ‘no’. Whilst I appreciate everyone has a bad day, it is clear that customer service is poor and much more training is required. I do want to mention that when the food did eventually arrive the delivery driver was very pleasant. The food on the other hand was very average. A terrible customer experience that I, nor anyone in my family, will ever be repeating.

70% went in bin ,only had bbq spare ribs in sauce and was tasteless ,curry sauce and chips ,sauce was like peppery water and chips all bits and black ,never again!
